Ancelotti: we don't make any excuses © EuroFootball.com

After the defeat in the English Premier League match with a score of 1-0, London team's coach Carlo Ancelotti stated that they were not looking for any excuses.

"We didn't play as we planned," the coach said after the match. "We didn't utilize our full potential, we didn't play the way we needed to win such a game. The opponents cleverly controlled the ball and truly deserve the victory."

Many were surprised by the coach's decision to replace one of the team leaders, Didier Drogba, with Daniel Sturridge, when there were still about 15 minutes left until the end of the match. About this decision, C. Ancelotti replied: "It was a tactical substitution. I wanted to utilize Daniel's speed on the right flank."
