London coach Arsene Wenger considers an unexpected defeat at home to the "West Bromwich" club a black day.
Peter Odemwingie, Gonzalo Jara, and Jerome Thomas allowed the visitors to lead by 3-0 at the same time, but late strikes from Samir Nasri gave the "Arsenal" team a slight hope, although they failed to snatch a point from it.
"We played poorly both defensively and offensively," admitted the Frenchman. "No player played at the level he can and should. It was a black day."
Looking for reasons for the defeat, Wenger continued: "We couldn't concentrate properly. And that is necessary to play sharply.
"It was bad everywhere - in defense, in midfield, in attack. It was difficult to pass, to control the ball. We got what we deserved - zero points."
