The agent of the team's forward Luis Fabiano, Jose Fuentesas, revealed that the player, unhappy with his substitute role on the team, may move elsewhere in January.

The 29-year-old Brazilian was linked with a move to another team in the summer, but ultimately stayed in Spain and extended his contract with Sevilla until 2013.

However, this season the Brazilian only played for 17 minutes in the Spanish league. Agent J. Fuentesas admitted that this situation could prompt the player to leave the club.

"The situation is very unpleasant, we really don't understand it," said the agent. "I don't understand Sevilla's decision to offer an extension of the contract, but now keep the player on the bench. If this situation does not change, then we will take appropriate actions."

In the summer, London's Tottenham team showed particular interest in Fabiano's services.
