After groin surgery, Munich defender Diego Contento will not be able to play for four to six weeks.
The 20-year-old footballer missed the weekend match of the German championship with "Mainz."
Contento, who has established himself in the main lineup this season, joined the list of injured "Bayern" footballers alongside leaders Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery, and young talent David Alaba.
Managed by Louis van Gaal, the team has won only two out of six matches in the German championships and is already 10 points behind the leaders.
