The security guard of Madrid club, Simao, stated that he is ready to extend his contract and stay with the team for at least another season.
The 30-year-old Portuguese's contract with "Atletico" expires after this season. The guard himself stated that he wants to start negotiations for a new contract as soon as possible.
"I feel very happy in Madrid, I really want to stay for a longer period of time," - said Simao. - "I spoke with my agent, he assured me that negotiations for a contract with the management should start soon."
