Togo national team goalkeeper Kodjovi Obilale, who was shot during a bus attack at the African Cup of Nations tournament this summer, received a compensation of 25,000 US dollars (almost 65,000 litas) from FIFA.

Although eight months have passed since the terrible incident, during which two members of the national team delegation died, the 25-year-old footballer still cannot walk - he was hit by two bullets in the back.

Obilale himself turned to FIFA for help and complained about the indifference of African and Angolan football officials.

Recently, he received a payment of 70,000 dollars from the Togo Ministry of Sports, but he claims that it will barely be enough to cover three months of hospital bills.
