After the victory in the Champions League against Belgrade's "Partizan," Arsenal strategist Arsene Wenger praised goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.
The Polish player, who has not been known for his reliable play until now, played confidently on Tuesday and even saved a penalty kick in the 3-1 victory.
"We saw Lukasz as I see him every day," said Wenger. "I think this will be a good motivation for him. He is a very talented footballer who needed to play a good game."
However, the specialist refused to say whether Fabianski would take over the role of the starting goalkeeper from the injured and often mistake-prone Manuel Almunia.
"At the moment, Almunia is recovering from an injury, so we will have to wait for the doctors' conclusions," Wenger declared. "It's too early to say who will play on Sunday against Chelsea."
