Striker Luciano Galletti, who represented the club, decided to end his professional football career.
The 30-year-old Argentine was diagnosed with a serious kidney disease, so doctors banned him from playing for a while. According to the striker himself, this disease was one of the main reasons why he decided to end his career.
"It is really difficult for me to leave football, but I think it is the best decision," the Argentine insisted. "I have many values in life, so I do not want to risk too much."
During his career, Galletti has played for clubs such as "Estudiantes", "Parma", "Napoli", "Zaragoza", and Madrid's "Atletico", and since 2007 he has represented "Olympiacos."
