Spaniards against Lithuania - even without Torres, Pedro and Navas © EuroFootball.com

The Spanish national team, preparing for the European Championship qualifying matches against Lithuania and Scotland, will likely have to do without three more players - wingers Jesus Navas and Pedro, and forward Fernando Torres.

26-year-old Liverpool player Torres suffered a groin injury in the weekend Premier League match against Blackpool, while Barcelona's Pedro sustained a hamstring injury in the game against Mallorca. Navas is dealing with thigh problems and did not play at all this weekend.

According to Marca, the most likely candidates to replace the injured players are three Valencia members - Aritz Aduriz, Pablo Hernandez, and Roberto Soldado.

Lithuania and Spain will clash in Salamanca on Friday.
