Arriving late to the French national team camp, striker Karim Benzema infuriated head coach Laurent Blanc.
Despite not playing in the Spanish league match on Sunday with La Coruna's "Deportivo", the Real Madrid player could not make it to the national team meeting on Monday.
"Karim did not play on Sunday, so he had to show up on time," Blanc asserted, who rescheduled the meeting time from 11:30 to 12:30, but it didn't help.
"Even if we had rescheduled it to 8:30 pm, he would still have been late."
Indeed, Blanc assured he had no intention of taking sanctions against Benzema, as the suspended players from the national team cannot help the team anyway.
