The club is planning to offer a new contract to forward Bojan Krkić, which, unofficially, could be valid until the summer of 2015, as reported by the radio station "ONA FM".
The current footballer's contract expires in 2013.
According to the statement, "Barcelona" has already contacted Bojan's agent and confirmed their intentions. It is believed that negotiations with the player regarding the conditions of the new contract will begin as soon as right-back Daniel Alves and defensive midfielder Sergio Busquets sign their contracts. Negotiations with these players are currently considered a priority for the Catalan team.
Bojan, who has been playing in the main Barcelona team for four years, is a product of the club's youth academy. Last season, he defended the honor of the Spanish champions in 23 official matches and scored 8 goals.
