Defender Jose Enrique believes that Nigel De Jong should be punished for a long time for breaking Hatem Ben Arfa's leg.
The incident occurred during Sunday's Premier League match when the Magpies visited Manchester City players.
The Spaniard wants the Arab-owned club's midfielder to be disqualified until the injured Ben Arfa can return to the team.
It is expected that this will happen in March 2011.
Newcastle has already asked the English Football Association to review the incident and appropriately punish the so-called "bone breaker" De Jong.
