Villa: "No one talks about the crisis in the club" © EuroFootball.com

David Villa is convinced that he and his teammates will quickly find the way to the opponents' goal.

The Catalan club, which started weaker than expected in the national championships, has already lost five points at their home Camp Nou stadium: unexpectedly lost to the "Hercules" team and played a draw with "Mallorca."

"Everything. This is in the past. We lost those points and we won't get them back. Now we need to continue working so that such mistakes do not happen again," the footballer is convinced.

"Barcelona" forward does not believe that the team focuses too much on the attack and as a result, their own goal safety suffers.

"There is no other team that creates so many opportunities in attacks. Missed chances weigh us down a bit, but I really know that it is a temporary feeling. We need to focus and everything will be fine," quotes the footballer's words the Spanish news agency EFE.

"No one in the club talks about a crisis. Yes, Real Madrid overtook us in the league table, but we are not worried about it. Now the most important thing is the points that we ourselves will have to earn," says David Villa.

The new player of the Catalan club also noted that the team lacks the injured midfielder Xavi.

"Barcelona's" attacking conductor was not invited to the Spanish national team camp due to Achilles tendon pain. The world and European champions will meet the national teams of Lithuania and Scotland in the qualifying cycle for the Continental Championships.

David Villa also defended the recently criticized Bojan Krkic: "He is still a very young guy with amazingly great football skills. At the moment, things are not going very well for him, just like for the whole team. Bojan lacks a bit of luck, and the goals will surely pour into the opponents' goal.
