Club coach Roberto Mancini plans to switch to a more attacking style of play once several key team players recover.
The Italian strategist usually opts for a tactical scheme with one forward up front, often the team captain Carlos Tevez.
The latter has already expressed his dissatisfaction with such a match plan after the weekend match with Newcastle players, believing that the Manchester team lacks sharpness in attack.
"At the moment we don't have the opportunity to play with two forwards. Adebayor has just recovered from an injury, and Balotelli is still injured. When these players are fully ready to take the field, the playing style will become more attacking," the Italian reflected.
