"West Ham" midfielder Hitzlsperger will be sidelined for four months

London's West Ham defender Thomas Hitzlsperger, who suffered a thigh injury, will not be able to play for four months.

The 28-year-old footballer joined the English team this summer, but did not have time to make his debut in an official match due to an injury suffered just a few days before the start of the season.

Last season, Hitzlsperger played for Rome's Lazio.
