The love of German football fans for Michael Ballack is fading - they want the veteran to finish his career in the national team, announces the SID news agency.
The Dortmund Institute for Social Research conducted a survey, according to which more than 55% of respondents no longer want to see Ballack representing Germany.
The 33-year-old veteran missed the summer World Cup and the first matches of the European Championship qualifying tournament due to injury, but his absence did not prevent the team from achieving great results - reaching the small final of the world championships and still remaining unbeaten in the qualifiers.
Currently, Ballack represents the "Bayer" club from Leverkusen.
