"Wolfsburg" achieved a resounding victory at home against the league newcomer "Arminia", scoring five goals without reply, four of them in the first half. T. Brdaric scored twice, while T. Rytter, D. Klimowicz, and M. Petrov each scored one. The "Wolves" are now in fourth place, four points behind the leading teams "Bayern" and "Schalke".
"Bayer" took the lead away from home after a precise shot by D. Berbatov, but "Gladbach" equalized the result when Vaclav Sverkos converted a penalty kick. After these draws, Leverkusen club remains in eighth place, while "Gladbach" is fourth from the bottom.
