On Saturday, six matches of the IX round were played in the French "Ligue1" championship.
The country's champion club "Marseille", which is showing better and better results, achieved an important victory at home by defeating "Nancy" with a single goal by Loic Remy.
The capital's PSG club also achieved a somewhat unexpected victory away from home, forcing "Toulouse" to surrender 2-0. The winning team scored a goal in the 11th minute through defender Mamadou Sakho, and in the beginning of the second half, Mevlut Erdinc doubled the lead.
"Bordeaux" also secured an important away victory by narrowly defeating "Auxerre" 1-0. "Montpellier" also defeated their opponents, while the other two matches ended in a draw.
