The new club owners "New England Sports Venture" (NESV) expressed their support for the head coach Roy Hodgson.
There have been speculations in the media that the change in ownership to NESV may result in changes in the coaching staff after a disappointing start to the season.
"We trust Roy," said one of the owners, Tomas Werner. "No one is happy with the start of the season, but the coach needs to be given time."
He added: "Jumping from one side to the other usually doesn't bring anything good. We don't see any reason why Hodgson couldn't be our coach this year and in the future."
Werner didn't make specific promises, but assured that in January the club will allocate funds to strengthen the team.
"The total amount of salaries should be higher," he said. "There is a strong correlation between the size of salaries and success in the Premier League.
"In the past, we have had to sign huge checks. With the Red Sox baseball club, we shook hands with a player from Japan, and the total value of the deal with his salary reached $100 million."
