Members' representatives decided in the vote that the former club board with president Joan Laporta at the forefront will have to explain in court about the financial losses incurred.
The Spanish champions, currently led by Sandro Rosellas, intend to take action after 468 people voted in favor of it in the vote. 439 opposed the proposal.
"This is the most important decision made by members in the club's history," Rosellas, who took office in July, stated.
As a result of his initiative, an audit conducted by a commission revealed that "Barcelona" suffered losses of 77.1 million euros last season, despite the previous board's claim of an 11 million euro profit in June.
