On Sunday, the English Premier League saw the third round of matches.

London's Arsenal took advantage of a numerical advantage from the 5th minute of the match and won a crucial away game 3-0 against Man City.

The home team's match started very poorly - just a few minutes into the game, Dedryck Boyata was sent off the field after a last-minute mistake.

The guests took the lead in the 21st minute, when Samir Nasri scored a goal after a pass from Andrey Arshavin, and just before halftime, Joe Hart saved a penalty shot from Man City's Cesc Fabregas.

Arsenal dominated in the second half as well, so it was no surprise when Alexandre Song doubled the lead, and Nicklas Bendtner scored the third goal.

After the victory, the London team moved up to second place, trailing just five points behind the league-leading Chelsea players in the championship.

Javier Hernandez successfully filled in Wayne Rooney's spot in Man Utd's ranks, with his brace leading to a victory against Stoke.

In the first half, the Mexican scored a great header to put his team ahead, and although it seemed like the Manchester visitors might have to settle for a draw - an impressive shot by Tuncay in the 81st minute restored the balance - Hernandez himself secured the win for the Red Devils.
