Munich president Uli Hoeness rejects the possibility of splurging huge sums of money in the winter transfer window to acquire new footballers.
In the nine matches of the German championship, the country's champions have collected only 12 points and have significantly complicated their situation.
After a successful previous season, Bayern decided not to strengthen the squad, so the only newcomer in the team is Toni Kroos, who returned after a loan period.
However, Hoeness told the newspaper "Munchner Merkur" that coach Louis van Gaal will at best have funds for one player: "If a capable right or left-back appeared on the market, we would consider that possibility.
"But you can be sure that there will be no huge investments or flashy purchases. I think the squad is better than last year, but we are sorely missing the injured Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben."
