David Beckham does not rule out intentions to once again put on the England national team jersey in the future.
The national team's manager, Fabio Capello, had stated that he would no longer call up Beckham, but later changed his mind and added that he would select from the best players.
"Everyone knows how passionately I represent my country, so I would like to continue doing so in the future," said 35-year-old Beckham. "Of course, the decision will have to be made by the coach, and I have to play as well as possible to be noticed."
Beckham's contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy club will expire next year. Next month, he has the opportunity to buy out the contract and become a free agent, but he does not plan to do so.
"I will definitely stay in Los Angeles until the end of the contract," Beckham affirmed. "My sons go to school here, we are all happy, so there is no reason to leave."
