President of Milan, Massimo Moratti, confirmed that the Italian champions will have to sell first if they want to buy new players once the transfer window opens in January.
Earlier it was stated that coach Rafael Benitez would like two new players, but before fulfilling this wish, an equal number of players will have to leave.
"I don't know if we will take action in the market. At the moment, we are watching," Moratti said.
"But in order to buy, we first have to sell. We will see if we can do both," he added.
