Miroslav Klose will not be able to play for about three weeks due to a thigh injury. The German got injured on the day of his return to the field after recovering from a similar injury and missing two weeks because of it.
The 32-year-old forward of Munich's "Bayern" suffered the injury during a reserve team match.
Due to injuries, Germany's team will not have the help of forwards Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery, as well as captain Mark van Bommel, and defender Diego Contento.
However, forward Ivica Olic and defender Daniel van Buyten are returning to the lineup and are expected to play in the German championship match against "Freiburg" on Friday.
