Bayern defender Philipp Lahm is waiting for the club's offer to extend his contract.
The contract of the German national team's full-back will expire in the summer of 2012, so the footballer would like to tie his future for a longer time.
"Everything is great at the moment. I am waiting for the word and offer from the management," said 26-year-old Lahm. "I want to see how everything moves forward and the club progresses."
"Bayern" sports director Christian Nerlinger confirmed that he will "do everything" to ensure that both Lahm and midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger stay in Bavaria until the end of their careers.
