Strategist Roberto Mancini confirmed that Roque Santa Cruz has been given permission to leave the club in January, when the transfer window opens.
The 29-year-old footballer failed to withstand the competition and only played one game this season.
"I hope he finds a new team, because Roque deserves it," said Mancini. "He is a great person and a great player, but he understands our situation very well."
It is said that the Paraguayan is particularly interested in London's Fulham.
