On Tuesday, eight UEFA Champions League group stage matches were played.
In front of their own fans, debutants London's "Tottenham" secured a beautiful victory by defeating Milan's "Inter" 3-1.
In the first half, after a brilliant run by Luka Modrić, Rafael van der Vaart sent the ball into the net, while Peter Crouch missed another great opportunity, sending the ball next to the post from close range.
However, later the English national team forward corrected his mistake and doubled the lead after a pass from Bale, but the visitors' hope was revived by Samuel Eto'o, who softened the lead with a precise shot in the 80th minute.
Still, that wasn't enough, and "Tottenham" secured their advantage during a quick attack - Roman Pavlyuchenko scored a goal.
Also, securing the 10th point, which many believe practically guarantees a ticket to the knockout stage, England's vice-champion "Man Utd" won convincingly 3-0 away against "Bursaspor".
In Group D, "Kobenhavn" and Barcelona" are close to success, finishing their match in Denmark with a 1-1 draw.
Barcelona took the lead after a precise shot from Lionel Messi in the 31st minute, but soon the balance was restored by Claude after goalkeeper Victor Valdes' mistake.
