Former French national team coach Raymond Domenech is demanding a compensation of 2.9 million euros from the country's football federation.
According to the coach's representatives, after the World Cup federation unfairly dismissed him and did not pay any severance compensation.
Both Domenech himself and his lawyers add that the coach is not the main culprit for the national team's failures, while the federation specifically chose him as a "scapegoat."
