Jose Mourinho was happy that his Madrid team secured a ticket to the Champions League knockout stage, but he was not satisfied with the performance of his players in the match against Milan.
Pedro Leon's goal in added time allowed the Spaniards to snatch a 2-2 draw. "Real" led for a long time, but two goals by Pippo Inzaghi allowed the Milanese to celebrate victory.
"I can't say that I am satisfied, because we had the advantage and could have sealed the win," said Mourinho. "We had to do that.
"However, when you are losing 1-2 in the last minute and equalize, you can't say that you are sad, because a bit of luck smiled upon us. We made it to the next stage, we didn't lose. In the Champions League, the national championship, and cup competitions, we are still undefeated."
Commenting on the three raised fingers he showed to the Milan fans, Mourinho said: "These are the three titles with Inter, won last year. We can't forget that."
