The British press has a lot to be happy about - in recent days, there has been a lot of talk about the future of London's leader Gareth Bale.
The 21-year-old footballer attracted everyone's attention this season in the Champions League tournament, initially scoring three goals against Inter Milan in an away match, and later determining his team's victory in the return leg against the same Inter in London with an impressive performance.
As expected, the tabloid press speculates that Bale has caught the attention of giants like Real Madrid and Barcelona. According to "The Sun," the Spaniards could offer about 50 million pounds for the football player.
However, Bale himself is not inclined to change teams: "I am happy in the Tottenham team and see no reason to move elsewhere. We have many players with long-term contracts at the club, which provides stability.
"With the victory against Inter, we showed that we can compete at the highest level, so why would anyone want to move elsewhere?"
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp also said a few days ago that he would not sell one of the team's leaders "for any amount of money."
