Germany's national team in the future may face a shortage of left-backs and attackers, fears current national team strategist Joachim Löw.

"There are no outstanding attackers in the youth teams," Löw said to "Kicker." "The same goes for the left-back positions. We don't have many players who could fill these positions in the future."

And he added: "These are probably the most problematic positions."

Germany's national team finished 3rd in the summer World Cup.
