Samson Siasia has become the new head coach of the Nigerian national team. The specialist has signed a four-year contract.
In the battle for the position, Siasia defeated Stephen Keshi.
"It was the best choice considering his performance in the conversation with us," said the country's football federation secretary, Emmanuel Ikperne.
The new coach will start working on December 1st. His first goal is to qualify for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations tournament, which will take place in Libya.
