"Marseille" defender Gabriel Heinze does not intend to try his luck in wealthy Qatari clubs at the end of his career.
The 32-year-old Argentine was linked to a financially lucrative move to the Middle East, where well-known footballers often compete in Europe before retiring from top-level sports.
"Today it seems impossible," former PSG defender told "L'Equipe." "But once it seemed impossible to return to play in France, not in Paris, but here I am in Marseille.
"I am no longer 21 years old, so I want to enjoy other things, spend more time with my family. Some things in football don't suit me. I am a bit old-fashioned, so I don't understand everything."
