On Saturday in the X round of the Spanish "Liga BBVA" tournament, Manuel Pellegrini made an unsuccessful debut at the helm of the "Malaga" club.
The Chilean's players suffered a 1-0 defeat against Barcelona's "Espanyol" team on the road. The only goal of the match was scored by Javi Marquez with an impressive long-range shot at the beginning of the first half.
In another match, San Sebastian's "Sociedad" team also won 1-0 against Santander's "Racing" team in front of their own fans.
