"Man City" - "Man Utd": Fans' Thoughts (Part I) © EuroFootball.com

Portal [link="http://www.eurofootball.com"]"EuroFootball.com"[/link] continues the column "Fan Thoughts" that saw the light of day last week! From now on, we will talk to the fans supporting the teams entering the most important, interesting, and highly publicized matches.

Approaching the derby of the English "Premier" league between and teams, our questions were answered by LuKado, a fan of the "city" side.

"EuroFootball.com": How did you start supporting "Man City"? Have you been a fan of this club for a long time? What were the first City games you saw and what was the result?

LuKado: I have been supporting "Man City" since the Robbie Fowler era. Probably it was because of this player that I liked the "city" team. Later, I fell in love with them and eventually started to adore them.

I really can't name the first games. Unfortunately, my memory does not recall them.

"EuroFootball.com": Which derby stands out in your memory?

LuKado: I think the 2009 match at "Old Trafford," which ended with a 4-3 victory for the Red Devils. Let's remember that there was almost everything a football lover could want while watching the game.

"EuroFootball.com": In what ways is "Man City" better than "Man Utd"?

LuKado: For every fan, their supported team is something special. Just watching the "devils" play, I don't feel anxious, I don't worry about every mistake they make, I don't feel joy when they score a goal.

"EuroFootball.com": What will determine the outcome of the match on Wednesday?

LuKado: It will be very important to psychologically prepare the players properly, to set them up for the battle. The outcome of the match can be determined by the smallest mistake in the middle of the field, so the players must be fully focused at all times.

"EuroFootball.com": What are you most afraid of before the upcoming match?

LuKado: Currently, Man Utd's game is struggling. In recent rounds, the team mostly manages to save themselves at the end of matches, but a club like the Red Devils cannot always struggle. There may come a day from which they will start moving up the leaderboard, and the game will start to improve dramatically. That's what I'm afraid of, that Wednesday won't be the start of all that.

"EuroFootball.com": Which "Man Utd" player(s) would you most like to see in "city" shirts?

LuKado: Honestly, I wouldn't want to see any player wearing a city shirt. However, if I had to choose, - Rio Ferdinand.

"EuroFootball.com": Which opponent player(s) do you dislike the most?

LuKado: Dimitar Berbatov. I don't know why, but he causes me the most negative emotions. The Bulgarian playing style is really not appealing.

"EuroFootball.com": What do you think about Manchester City's spending in the transfer market?

LuKado: Positive. The team was formed from scratch, and I think with this line-up, Man City will try to compete for the highest-ranking victories. Of course, the team needs time. We'll see.

"EuroFootball.com": What will be the final result of today's match? Who will score goals?

LuKado: "Man City" victory 2-1. Goals will be scored by Balotelli, Tevez, and... Nani.

"EuroFootball.com": Can Man City win the English "Premier" league title this season?

LuKado: Of course they can, why not? The team is new and ambitious. This stage of the season clearly shows us that even this year we can fight for the "Premier" league trophy. We just need the team spirit, which should come with time.

Tommy: Has life been sweet supporting "Man City" since the Dickov era?

LuKado: Supporting "city" has always been a sweet life! And it doesn't matter what happens... (smiling).

"EuroFootball.com": Thank you for your time!
