The club veteran Filippo Inzaghi, who suffered a serious injury, insists that he does not intend to end his career and is planning a comeback to the field.
The 37-year-old striker injured his knee and will have to lie on the operating table. According to doctors, the rehabilitation process will last about half a year, so this season the Italian will no longer play.
"Life and football are like that - one minute you play and fight, the next you lie with a knee injury," said Inzaghi. - But I was greatly supported by the fans, the club, the coach, and the team friends.
"Deep in my heart, I know it will be very hard, but I will not give up. Trust me - I will do everything to make sure this is not the end."
