Spain's King's Cup tournament ("Copa del Rey") match against "Ceuta" didn't finish for Gabriel Milito, who had to leave the field due to a thigh muscle injury for at least a month.
During the match on Wednesday, the defender suffered the injury in the first half and was substituted.
Frenchman Eric Abidal took his place on the field.
After examinations by the doctors of the Catalan club, it was revealed that Milito will not be able to play for at least a month. However, it is predicted that the player's rehabilitation could take up to six weeks.
It means that the footballer will most likely not appear on the field until the New Year.
Milito's injury should significantly change the lineup of the Catalan team's defenders.
Gerard Pique will have to miss the next few matches with "Villarreal" due to suspension, and in the match against "Almeria", if he steps onto the field, he will have four yellow cards. Another yellow card would eliminate the Catalan's possibility of playing in the "El Clasico" against Real Madrid.
