Keeper Pepe Reina denies telling manager Roy Hodgson that he wants to leave the team.
The 28-year-old footballer signed a new six-year contract in April and stated: "It's completely untrue.
"I didn't tell the manager that I want to leave in January or any other time. It's important for the fans to know that. I have signed a long-term contract and I am committed to the club.
Having moved to Liverpool from Villarreal in 2005, Reina has recently been linked with teams such as Man Utd and Arsenal in London.
