In the "Serie A" championship in Italy on Saturday, two matches were played.

Turin's "Juventus", currently in fourth place, played a 1-1 draw at home against "Roma" in sixth place.

Vincenzo Iaquinta put the injury-ridden "Juventus" team ahead in the 35th minute, when he acrobatically defeated Julio Sergio after a brilliant pass from Alberto Aquilani.

However, right before the break, "Roma" restored parity - captain Francesco Totti converted a controversially awarded penalty in the 11th meter.

The "Fiorentina" club climbed to ninth place in the league table by defeating "Cesena" 1-0.

Alberto Gilardino scored the only goal in the 59th minute, allowing some relief to the head coach of the Florence team, Siniša Mihajlović, who has recently received a lot of criticism.
