London strategist Carlo Ancelotti admitted after a sensational home defeat to the "Sunderland" club that it was the worst match of his career in England.
The 'Blues', who are leading the championship, were unable to stand up to their opponents and lost by 0-3.
"After the international matches on Thursday, we will gather and analyze what happened," said the Italian working in London since the summer of 2009. "I think this was the worst match for me working here.
"We didn't play well, but in football, that can happen if you are not in the best form and not mentally prepared for the game. Nothing went well. We didn't show the game we wanted, and the 'Sunderland' players were in excellent spirits."
He added: "It's a bad day."
Meanwhile, "Sunderland" coach Steve Bruce was pleased that this victory will allow them to recover after the humiliation suffered on October 31 against fierce rivals "Newcastle" with a 1-5 defeat.
"It took us a long time to recover from that defeat," he said. "But I'm glad that we finally did it. We rolled up our sleeves and worked brilliantly.
