Robert Pires returns to the English Premier League - the footballer will sign a contract with Birmingham club.
The 37-year-old veteran is currently a free agent. Last summer he left the Villarreal team.
Lately, Pires has been training with London's Arsenal team, and he will most likely be able to debut within Aston Villa's ranks in Sunday's match against Blackburn.
The Frenchman will not be a newcomer in England - from 2000 to 2006 he wore Arsenal's jersey.
