Italian national team forward Mario Balotelli found himself targeted by racists - every time the footballer touched the ball during a friendly match with Romania, insulting and racist chants could be heard from the stands.
It is reported that the authors of these chants were about 100 right-wing extremists who are not happy that a black player, with roots in Ghana, is playing for the national team.
This match, which took place in Austria, was only the second appearance for Balotelli wearing the national team jersey.
It is worth noting that defender Cristian Ledesma, who was born in Argentina and had his debut for the national team that evening, also faced whistles from the crowd.
