The English Football Association has confirmed that the club will receive compensation for Steven Gerrard's injury.

One of the 'Reds' leaders in the friendly match against France was supposed to play for no longer than an hour, but by the decision of coach Fabio Capello, he stayed on the field for 84 minutes and then suffered an injury. Because of it, the goalkeeper will not be able to play for about a month.

Liverpool's insurance will pay compensation, which, according to "The Sun", will be around 500 thousand pounds sterling. Previously, "Arsenal" and "Tottenham" clubs have received payments respectively for Theo Walcott and Jermaine Defoe.
