London Stratford Carlo Ancelotti admitted that due to the serious injuries of defenders John Terry and Alex, the club may be forced to strengthen in January when the transfer window opens.
Terry has been struggling with leg pain for several months, while Alex postponed his knee operation in order to be able to step onto the field for Saturday's match against Birmingham.
"Of course, if both players are unable to compete for a long time, we will have to consider the possibility of looking for reinforcements," Ancelotti said. "But only in that case."
