Tired of criticism, Scottish judges threaten to strike © EuroFootball.com

The Scottish Football Association (SFA) assures that they will do everything possible to persuade referees to abandon their intentions to strike.

The country's referees' association has announced that they are tired of constant criticism from coaches, footballers, club officials, and the media, therefore they intend to take action.

"This is a sad day for Scottish football," said SFA head George Peat. "We do not support the strike, but we must understand and take into account what the coaches are saying. We will do everything to avoid disruptions."
