On a late Wednesday evening, the first two matches of the fourth round of the Italian Cup tournament ("Coppa Italia") were played.

Victories after extra time were celebrated by the teams of "Genoa" and "Udinese" who defeated respectively the teams of "Vicenza" and "Lecce" to advance to the quarterfinals.
