The best Scottish referees have refused to postpone the strike planned for the weekend, despite the country's football association (SFA) claiming that negotiations are proceeding positively.
The strike is planned due to constant insults and threats from coaches and other club representatives towards referees.
The SFA promised to take stricter sanctions against them, but also added that they would invite referees from abroad to minimize the losses caused by the strike.
