Wayne Rooney publicly apologized to fans for his actions in October when he threatened to leave the club, but ultimately signed a long-term contract.
The England national team member also denied rumors that he was close to transferring to fierce rivals "Man City."
"I thought I had already apologized, but everyone says I didn't," Rooney said. "If that's the case, I apologize for what happened on my part.
"I heard rumors that I would move to 'Man City.' Believe me, if I left 'Man Utd,' I definitely wouldn't stay in England."
