The attacker from Greece Angelos Charisteas terminated his contract with a French club by mutual agreement.
The 30-year-old footballer left "Nurnberg" this summer and moved to the ranks of "Ligue 1" debutants, but he failed to shine. Success did not accompany the team of "Arles" either - in 14 matches they have only managed to achieve one victory so far.
Although Charisteas, who had already played six matches and did not score any goals, had a contract that should have been valid until the end of the season, now the footballer has become a free agent.
Interestingly, at the end of October, another Greek, Angelo Basinas, left the club under similar circumstances.
